I never thought about empty states this way, but it makes perfect sense. A blank screen with a tiny gray message isn’t just an oversight—it can be a frustrating dead end. I’ve definitely skimmed past important info before, assuming there was nothing useful there, only to realize later that I missed key instructions.

The point about more can be more resonates. Clean design is great, but sometimes it strips away the guidance people actually need. I like the idea of using empty states to teach, not just inform. A well-placed FAQ or clear next steps could make all the difference in turning confusion into action.
